Iran Exceeds JCPOA Limits on Enriched Uranium
Iran’s Fars news agency reported on Monday that the Islamic Republic’s stockpile of enriched uranium has exceeded the 300 kg limit set by the 2015 JCPOA nuclear deal. The report comes two days after Iranian officials declared that if the European powers wanted to preserve the JCPOA they must find a way to accommodate Iranian demands for relief from economic sanctions imposed by the US. "The ball is in Europe's court. Are Paris, London, and Berlin going to again waste a chance under the influence of [U.S. President Donald] Trump, or use the remaining opportunity to fulfill their promises and act on their commitments under the [nuclear deal]?," Iranian state TV (a media mouthpiece of the regime) said on June 29.

In related news, the US Senate voted down legislation Friday which would have prevented US President Donald Trump from launching military strikes against Iran without a Congressional vote of authorization.
